Remote Support

With our remote support application, we can repair your system without even having to be there. You simply give us a call, run our application, and we do the rest! For the day to day problems, remote support can save you both time, money, and frustration. Instead of having to schedule an appointment or following complex instructions over the phone, you need only sit back and watch your computer seemingly fix itself.


How does it work?

You give us a call, and we direct you to open our remote support application. With that program, you can quickly and easily initiate a remote connection to our support services, allowing a technichian to see your screen, as well as use your mouse and keyboard to quickly solve your problem.

Is it secure?

Absolutely. Because our remote support application initates outbound connections only, it can in no way allow anyone, including Fretta Computer Consulting, LLC, access to your system without your deliberate initiation.

I'm behind a NAT or firewall, will that matter?

Not at all. For the same reason that our remote support application is absolutely secure, it is also able to bypass most firewall and NAT issues. Because it is you who connects to us, instead of us who connect to you, traditional inbound routing issues are not a problem.

Do I need broadband internet?

Because the remote support application is fairly bandwidth intensive, DSL, Cable, or FiOS broadband internet is required to use the program effectively. Dial-up can be used when absolutely necessary, but it is not recommended.
